Blending the Cathedral Ceilings with the Fireplace: Creating a Cohesive Design

One of the most exciting aspects of this project is integrating the cathedral ceilings with the new fireplace and mantle. To create harmony between the fireplace and the tall ceilings, we’re taking an exciting approach by adding vertical shiplap to the wall surrounding the fireplace. In this case, we’ll install it vertically, which will emphasize the height of the room and create a visual flow that draws the eye upward.
